In his June 4th article, John Foyl of NJ.com reviews some of his favorite rosés and advocates drinking rosé year-round. Sounds good to me!
Here are his tasting notes from our 2014 Brancato Rosato:
“The 2014 Il Poggione Brancato Rosato di Toscana releases pronounced tangerine and cherry aromas; its delightful orange and cherry flavors with mild acidity flows to a long, gentle fruit-filled finish.”
Foyl also recommends pairing our rosé with salmon tartare. I would also recommend other kinds of seafood, vegetables and soft cheeses. Our Brancato Rosato also makes an excellent aperitif.
